The Olentangy Youth Athletic Association (OYAA) will hold an annual meeting and election to the Board of Directors on Wednesday, December 18th at 7 p.m. at Orange Township Hall located at 1680 E. Orange Rd., Lewis Center, OH 43035.
In accordance with its bylaws, the OYAA Board of Directors is notifying the community of the meeting and that nominations are now open for election to the OYAA Board of Directors.
There is a community member position open for election for the 2014 term at this meeting. Community members shall be any individual, 18 years of age or older, who live in the Olentangy Local School District, but does not have a child in any OYAA program. Letters of nomination shall include the name of the nominator, the name of the nominee along with the address and telephone number of each individual and be postmarked by December 11, 2013.
To be an eligible candidate, the nominee must be a member in good standing with OYAA. Shall not have been convicted of a felony, crime of moral turpitude or a misdemeanor involving any type of domestic violence. Must agree to comply with all policies and standing rules of the association including but not limited to submitting to a criminal background check.
