Good evening
I hope that everyone is doing well as we near the half-way point of the season! Doesn't seem possible but time flies when we are having fun.
Just a couple things.
1. Pictures - we should have pictures in soon (maybe as early as next week). As soon as they arrive, Rachel Potts (Director of Team Parents) will arrange a time for your team(s) parent to pick up the pictures. They will then hand out to your team.
2. Tim Free will be back this Saturday (5/4/2019) in the morning selling product as he did on opening day. If you ordered something online, please see him to pick up. He will be set up in the same spot as opening day.
3. Thank you for those that have come out to support our Davie High Varsity War Eagles baseball team. That group of men are an outstanding bunch. Many of them were a part of my 9-10 and 11-12 All Star teams that we had just a few years ago I am VERY proud of what they have accomplished this season as the 2019 CPC 4A Conference Regular Season Champs! Your support does not go unnoticed and on behalf of each of those guys I extend a THANK YOU for your support! They are playing tomorrow night at Reagan High School vs East Forsyth in the conference tourney. If they win, they will play the winner of West vs Reagan on Friday night to take home the tournament championship. The state tournament will start the following week. Currently our War Eagles are ranked #1 in North Carolina in the 4A division.
4. Get your Dash Day tickets! I look forward to marching around the field with all our guys!
Thank you all for a great start to the season! I have had very few issues and many "Thank you's" from many of you. We couldn't do it without your support!
